I first heard your message of Grace 22 years ago (ish) at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church in Groton, CT. I had it on a cassette tape (remember those?) I remembered your message until last year when I went through a really rough time and begin to believe that I would not be good enough to deserve God’s grace. I kept blowing it. It was too much work. I just wanted to get to heaven and rest. Then, March 25th (what a ‘coincidence’) I googled you. I remembered you said something that got me through 22 years of trials, kids, divorce, college and work. I saw your book, ordered it, and I now remember that God and I have a relationship based on His finished work. I am okay. And knowing that has brought me very close to God again. I talk to Him many, many times througout the day, just sharing as I desire for my own children to do with me. Thank you!
