It’s All About Jesus

Ephesians 1:9-10

9 He made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His kind intention which He purposed in Him 10 with a view to an administration suitable to the fullness of the times, that is, the summing up of all things in Christ, things in the heavens and things on the earth.

Colossians 1:13-20

The Incomparable Christ

13 For He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, 14 in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. 16 For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities— all things have been created through Him and for Him. 17 He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. 18 He is also head of the body, the church; and He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that He Himself will come to have first place in everything. 19 For it was the Father’s good pleasure for all the fullness to dwell in Him, 20 and through Him to reconcile all things to Himself, having made peace through the blood of His cross; through Him, I say, whether things on earth or things in heaven.

Colossians 3:11

a renewal in which there is no distinction between Greek and Jew, circumcised and uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave and freeman, but Christ is all, and in all.

1 Corinthians 1:30-31

30 But by His doing you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption, 31 so that, just as it is written, “ Let him who boasts, boast in the Lord.”

I.          Jesus is THE SUM OF ALL THINGS          Ephesians 1:10

A.  Jesus is the fountain– also the water.

B.  Jesus is the door– also the one behind the door.

C.  Jesus is the way– also the one at the end of the way.

D.  Jesus is the light – also the one the light reveals.

E.  Jesus is the Savior – also our salvation.

F.  Jesus raised Lazarus– also He is his resurrection.

G.  Jesus gives wisdom– also He is our wisdom.

H.  Jesus gives life – also He is our life

I.  Jesus is redeemer– also He is our redemption.

J.  Jesus gives hope – also He is our hope.

K.  Jesus gives peace – also He is our peace.

II.        Jesus is END OF ALL THINGS       Revelation 21:22

A. No need for a temple – He is the temple.

B.  No need for sun and moon – He is the light.

III.       Jesus alone CAN SATISFY.
