Most of us have been taught to be good givers but few have been taught to be good receivers. All agree that truth sets us free. What truth and what we have been set free from are questions that need answering. The truth of the finished work of Christ sets us free from the impossible demands of the law and is the truth that sets us free! Only by receiving His finished work for us can we be free to experience the abundance of life He died to give. Jesus did all that needed to be done to reconcile us to God. We cannot do anything to add to what He did no matter how hard we try! Receiving what He did is our privilege and our joy.
