Thank you for helping us spread the Good News of God’s amazing grace to the world using personal emails and social media.
These “weekly” grace messages are designed to be forwarded by you with any personal comments.
It’s simple, non-time consuming, and serves to spread the unleavened truth of the finished work of Christ to thousands.
“If you see yourself as under the law, you’d better understand it has jurisdiction over you for as long as you live. (Romans 7:1). There is no middle ground here! You are either under the law and will answer to the law in judgment- or under Christ and will answer to Him. Remember His throne is a throne of grace! Jesus or the law, one or the other. Get it?” (Pure Grace, page 58)
People who believe we need a balance between law and grace to keep us on the “straight and narrow” do not understand what they are saying! There is no “balance” possible. It is either one or the other or you have a mixture. The old covenant law has passed away and we now relate to God as sons and daughters. This truth is a stumbling point for many but it shouldn’t be. Romans 6:14 says “sin shall not be master over you for you are not under law but under grace”. Grace is our hope in overcoming sin, not law or efforts at law keeping. Our focus must be on Christ and His finished work not on sin! This is a new way of thinking for many and is upsetting for some, but rest assured it is the way of the New Covenant. Please give some thought and serious study to truth represented here. The abundant life Jesus came to give weighs in the balance!
Grace to you all,
Pastor Clark Whitten
