Thank you for helping us spread the Good News of God’s amazing grace to the world using personal emails and social media.
These “weekly” grace messages are designed to be forwarded by you with any personal comments.
It’s simple, non-time consuming, and serves to spread the unleavened truth of the finished work of Christ to thousands.
Quote of the Week
“Righteousness is a gift to be received, not a goal to be achieved. Christ achieved it, and I receive it! It is done by Him and offered to me. I cannot attain righteousness on my own. I cannot make myself righteous; I am righteous; but I didn’t do it, He did!” (Page 48 Pure Grace).
The misconception that many have about righteousness is that it is behavior related rather than a state of being. Righteousness means “right standing” with God. It is a state of being that is not affected by actions. One is either righteous or unrighteous, in Adam or in Christ, a saint or a sinner. This state of being called righteous is fully performed by Christ and accessed by faith in His finished work. A righteous person can do an unrighteous deed but that unrighteous deed does not make the righteous person unrighteous! Christ makes us righteous! It honors Christ and blesses us to believe the truth about what He did for us. Believe the truth about your Christ imputed righteousness and watch how your faith flourishes!
Grace to you all,
Pastor Clark Whitten
