Vision Statement

We believe it is our purpose to define God’s grace and redesign church to reflect His love for all people.

Vision Expanded

Grace Defined

To us, Grace is more than a name.

Grace is personal. It’s God’s love, explained by Jesus, and present in His Spirit. It’s a gift offered to all to be received. It cannot be earned. It’s not based on what we do or limited by what we cannot do. Grace was demonstrated in the radical life and work of Jesus. Through this work, Jesus offers the gifts of His forgiveness, salvation, justification, sanctification, and righteousness. Grace is scandalous – so good, it’s hard to believe. It’s true and pure and based on a new covenant that contains no remnants of the old.

Church Redesigned

Grace is the foundation of our community. It continually changes how we see God, ourselves, and others – for the better. It affirms an individual’s worth and value and allows us to be vulnerable and authentic with each other. As grace cultivates wisdom and maturity within us, we find we’re not afraid or ashamed of humanity. We are not bound to the behavioral code of the old covenant. We are free to live with people in kindness, tolerance, and generosity, sourced by Jesus’ unlimited and unconditional love.

Grace also infuses the structure and culture of our church. While each staff member has a job to do, we value the assistance and input of others. We continually work to develop teams of people to lead from within our community. They share the messages, lead worship, work with our youth and children, participate in small groups, pray with one another, assist those in need, and welcome people. Receiving grace allows and equips us to care for people. And we believe God’s lavish grace allows us to rest and have a lot of fun.

God

God is our loving Creator, whose ultimate intention has forever been to reconcile the world to Himself. God is WHAT He is, but Father is WHO He is.

Jesus

Jesus is the Son of God. All Jesus said and did, the way He lived, loved, died, and defeated death, demonstrated what God is really like. Jesus is the Word – the full expression of God.

Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is the life and presence of God living within the believer – teaching, comforting, equipping, and empowering each one to live life gracefully.

Church

Church is a gathering of people. Our church is a unified group of people who love God and whose rallying point is His grace. We gather to teach, learn, encourage, care for, challenge, and laugh with each other.

Bible

We believe the Bible points us to God and teaches us about ourselves; we’ll continue to study, teach from, and understand it.
